Deposit & Cancellation Policy:
Blown Away Salon Cancellation, No-Show & Payment Authorization Policy
At Blown Away Salon, your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. To protect the time and income of our stylists and maintain fairness for all guests, the following policies apply:
Deposit Amount:
• A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total service price is required to secure chemcial service appointments.
• The deposit will be applied toward the final cost of the service.
Payment of Deposit:
• Deposits must be made at the time of booking via [online payment, phone, in-person] to confirm your appointment.
Appointment Confirmation:
All appointments must be confirmed at least 48 hours before the scheduled time.
Reminder messages are a courtesy; guests are responsible for remembering their appointments.
Cancellation Policy
We kindly require a 48-hour notice for all salon services. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice—or failure to show for your appointment—will result in a 50% charge of the anticipated service amount.
For All Services
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in a 50% charge.
No-shows for will be charged 100% of the anticipated service amount.
Same-Day Cancellations
Same day is defined as any cancellation occurring between 12:00 AM and the scheduled appointment time.
1st same-day cancellation: 25% of the service cost
2nd same-day cancellation: 50% of the service cost
3rd or more same-day cancellations: 100% of the service cost
Ongoing cancellations and no-shows may require a deposit to reserve future appointments.
Credit Cards on File
A valid credit card is required to reserve any appointment. Current guests without a card on file will be asked to add one.
Late Arrivals
Late arrivals may result in a shortened service or require rescheduling, depending on the service and available time.
Service Guarantee
If you have any concerns with a service you received, please contact us within one week of your visit. We are happy to make any necessary adjustments to ensure your satisfaction.
Please note: No refunds or service credits will be issued.
Product Return Policy
Haircare products & boutique (unused or lightly used) may be returned within 7 days of purchase with the original receipt for a refund, exchange, or store credit.
Makeup, makeup brushes, hairbrushes, and styling tools cannot be returned.
All markdown/clearance items are final sale.
Gift Cards
Gift card purchases are non-refundable. The physical card must be presented for redemption.
Extension Consultations
A $15 consultation fee is required for all extension consultations and will be applied toward the cost of your hair purchase..
Card-on-File Authorization:
A valid card is required to remain on file for all appointments.
If this cancellation or no-show policy is violated, the card on file will be charged for the appropriate fee (including forfeited deposit amounts or applicable service fees).
Chargeback & Dispute Waiver:
By booking an appointment with Blown Away Salon, you agree to the following:
You authorize the salon to charge the card on file according to the terms of this policy.
You acknowledge that cancellation fees, no-show fees, and forfeited deposits are valid charges.
You agree not to dispute or charge back any fees that are the result of violating this policy.
Any chargeback filed in violation of this agreement may result in the inability to book future appointments until resolved.
Exceptions:
In case of emergencies or unavoidable circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible. Exceptions can be discussed at management’s discretion.
