Blown Away Salon held a cancer benefit for a local teen who was diagnosed with cancer. This event doubled as a fundraiser and Blown Away Salon's Yorktown location's one year anniversary. The parking lot parallel to the building held vendors, a food truck, and a raffle table. The salon offered chair massages, haircuts, and sales on retail items. Owner, Michelle Green, also accepted the York County Chamber of Commerce' Small Business of the Year award for 2021.
