After intense renovations to a 1500 square foot unit they finally relocated to their new salon home bringing Michelle’s vision to life. In the new space they were able to expand to 7 styling stations, add massage, permanent makeup, facials, and many more spa services. Blown Away also added about 5 more team members along the way including becoming an apprenticeship salon. The team was steadily growing and making their mark in their community. Family, community, and making the world more beautiful is number one at Blown Away. In 2020, the opportunity arrived to open a second location about 10 miles away. Blown Away #1 had reached its capacity so Michelle decided to go for it. She began renovations in February 2020 and the doors officially opened in March. March 18th she had to make a huge decision to close down due to the Covid19 pandemic after only having the second location open two short weeks and just signing a 10 year lease. The salons reopened in June of 2020. Although we have all had bumps along the way, Blown Away Salon continues to strive for success. It all goes back to the foundation of the why... Blown Away has became stronger than ever. Their team has shown their individual strengths and worked together to stay on top of education, innovating the salons, and keeping our guests beautiful and relaxed in a safe environment.
